Visio Corp., a supplier of business diagraming and technical drawing software, plans to move its headquarters next year from downtown to the new World Trade Center development on Seattle's waterfront. Visio has signed a 10-year lease agreement with Wright Runstad & Co. to occupy the entire east office building of the Port of Seattle's World Trade Center complex. The trade center project, which comprises two buildings and 255,000 square feet of office space, is part of a revitalization project in the Belltown district to create a high-technology corridor in downtown Seattle. Visio will be the only occupant in the larger east office building, taking 122,000 square feet in January 1999 and expanding to fill 184,000 square feet during the following 15 months.
