Visio Corp. (Nasdaq: VSIO) invites members of the press to attend a donation ceremony for the Bell Street Connection Project. Paul Schell, mayor of Seattle, and Evelyn Sroufe, senior vice president of Worldwide Operations for Visio, will donate $93,484 and $22,500 respectively to the Belltown Business Association's Bell Street Connection Project (formerly the Denny Regrade Association). The money will go toward work already under way to create a clean and safe pedestrian connection between the Belltown neighborhood and Seattle's waterfront area.
The ceremony will be held at Visio's new worldwide headquarters on Thursday, July 8, from 10:30 to 11:30 a.m. Photo opportunities include Mayor Schell and Evelyn Sroufe presenting two separate checks to John Nagy, board member and former president of the Belltown Business Association, as well as visual displays of the Bell Street corridor enhancement plans.
