New Visio Enterprise Agreement Decreases Cost, Reduces IT Administration at the Desktop

Program Aggressively Priced, Eliminates Software Compliancy Issues for Itmanagers

SEATTLE, March 23 /PRNewswire/ — Visio Corp. (Nasdaq: VSIO) today announced the Visio Prema Enterprise Agreement (EA) licensing program, making it easier for customers to standardize on Visio® technology across their organizations. The new program is aggressively priced, eases customer implementation and streamlines the licensing process. Visio's program mirrors Microsoft Corp.'s highly successful enterprise agreement licensing program, so corporate customers who have enjoyed the reduced cost, easy administration and reduced compliance issues associated with Microsoft's program will quickly recognize the value of Visio's new offering.

For resellers, Visio's EA program offers a way to work in partnership with large customers and offer an enhanced suite of desktop tools as well as a means of reducing the information technology management overhead usually associated with the licensing of PC applications.

Reduced Customer Costs, Simplified Administration

Visio's EA program benefits customers in a number of ways, including reducing the cost, easing the deployment and simplifying the administration of Visio licenses. The program is a solution for companies looking for extendible solutions that allow for easy implementation, as well as those that can be standardized across their entire enterprise. By licensing Visio Standard for all desktops within an enterprise, an IT department's application administration is simplified because each desktop can have a consistent application image. The agreement further benefits customers by doing the following:
