Visio Launches Reseller Partner Program at Reseller Xchange

Benefits Include Free Technical Support, Product and Training

SEATTLE, March 22 /PRNewswire/ — Today at Reseller XChange, in Dana Point, Calif., Visio Corp. (Nasdaq: VSIO) announced Visio Connections, a new reseller partner program. The Visio Connections program, which will provide resellers with tools to enable them to offer enhanced service to their customers, includes free Visio® products, dedicated technical support, quarterly training and access to Visio's sales resource library, among other benefits.

"Visio Connections will be a valuable asset for resellers and provides one of the most comprehensive reseller programs in the software industry," said Keith Collins, vice president of channel sales for Visio. "The Visio product line has become a key application and is highly valued by individual users and enterprise customers alike. Now resellers will have additional tools to help them develop the right business solutions for their customers. As a result, we expect they'll see greater sales as well."

Program Participation

To take part in the program and receive a Visio Connections toolkit, resellers should contact Ingram Micro Inc. at 800-456-8000 (reference part no. 500367). The toolkit will direct resellers to a dedicated Web page or an 800 number through which they can register for the program officially. The toolkit and a Visio Connections one-time program fee of $495 entitle partners to the following:

  • Technical support, including a dedicated partner representative
  • Training, including quarterly Web seminar sessions with demonstrations and sales tips, "ask the experts" forums and sneak peeks of new Visio technology
  • Copies of Visio Enterprise, Visio Professional, Visio Technical, Visio Standard and IntelliCAD® products (valued at more than $2,000)
  • Sales resource library (notebook and CD-ROM), including product information, selling tips, sample demos and drawings, part numbers, and licensing information
  • Marketing toolkit, including sales and marketing tools, logos, product graphics and other marketing resources

Other near-term benefits include on-site sales and technical training, e-mail newsletters, and industry-specific sales tools.
